Teaching and Learning
Welcome to The Department of Teaching and Learning

"A Caring, Committed, Community"

The Office of Teaching and Learning manages the curriculum and ensures that both teaching and learning are taking place. The Sumter County School System follows the Georgia Department of Education guidelines, teaching standards and the state approved curriculum.

We are here to help students learn. Our focus is to prepare the students of Sumter County to become College and Career Ready so that we can "Graduate All Students."
