During the June Board of Education meeting, Mr. Walter Knighton, Superintendent, recognized outstanding students for the fourth nine weeks of the 2022-2023 school year. Pre-Kindergarten through 12th-grade students were nominated by their teacher and then selected by their principal. The criteria for the nomination were: all A’s, excellent attendance and model behavior. The students and their parents were invited to attend the June Board of Education meeting. As their names were called, Superintendent Knighton presented the students with an “Exemplary Student” yard sign to be displayed in their yard.
